By joining Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty in 2005, she was given a wonderful opportunity to help others find a place that they too will love calling home. Jessica resides in Wilmington with her husband, Richard Edwards, who is a Field Sales Consultant for Henry Schein Dental. She enjoys playing tennis and walking, fishing, shopping, boating and enjoying the coast, travel, a good glass of wine, and spending time with friends and family. As a Realtor, active member of The Junior League of Wilmington, Good Friends of Wilmington, Young Brokers Council, and board member for the UNCW Alumni Board of Directors she also understands the importance of giving back to the community that we love so much. Lisa traveled the world as a flight attendant for 15 years. She always planned on retiring near the ocean and after surviving divorce and Stage 3 Cancer (non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma) she realized she couldn’t wait any longer. After packing up her two children and pets they made the move from Connecticut to the coast of Southeastern North Carolina. Her parents grew up in North Carolina and as a child Lisa spent her summers vacationing on Topsail Island. Lisa chose to pursue a career in real estate and received her NC Real Estate License in 2007. She began working as an Office Administrator for a local real estate brokerage. Lisa immediately fell in love with the real estate industry and is constantly working to learn new ways to stay on the cutting edge in the ever changing real estate market.
Lisa also enjoys volunteering for many causes such as the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital, American Cancer Society, The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Relay For Life, Supporting Our troops and Their Families, Step Up For Soldiers, Wounded Warriors, Brothers in Arms and Bone Marrow Awareness. She enjoys boating and the beach, being outdoors, especially spending time with her family, attending ECU football games, ECU Lady Pirates Lacrosse tournaments and her son's JROTC Raider competetions for Topsail High School. Lisa is would love to learn play golf and one day hopes to earn her pilot's license.
